• We are committed to serving our clients with the maximum amount of flexibility. In fact, we empower our clients to choose the service delivery platform most appropriate for their specific needs. Our engagements are designed with different formats, ranging from multi-month market entry strategy engagements to half-day executive seminars/briefings, and ad-hoc research projects.

Engagement Team Structure and Professional Fees

• JJ Wellesley Group believes that each client situation is unique and consultants should NOT attempt to apply a predetermined method to every client engagement. Our clients have a strong say in how we structure a particular project.
• We staff all of our projects to create high quality deliverables as well as to minimize the costs of our clients. Generally, a full-fledged project team consists of:
  • A case officer from our Los Angeles office-this experienced and English speaking consultant will be responsible for project management, quality control of client deliverables, and day-to-day communication with our clients.
  • A senior manager or partner from our Shanghai office-this seasoned Chinese business professional will be in charge of managing the Shanghai based project team as well as building access to and establishing guanxi (relationships) with senior business executives and/or government officials in China.
  • One or multiple business analysts from our Shanghai office-these highly trained business analysts will be responsible for conducting market research in China as well as analyzing data and generating hypothesis.
• Similar to many other professional service organizations, the fee we charge for a particular engagement is based on the specific amount of time and resources allocated to the project. Given the fact that a significant portion of our client work is handled by our China based team, which does not include any "expensive" expatriates or Western trained MBA's or "returnees", we believe that our firm's professional fee structure is among the most competitive in the industry.
• A specific quote can be developed once the actual scope of a project is defined (through our free initial discussions with our prospective clients).
